Iron Man 2 Trailer

The highly anticipated sequel is set to hit the big screen in 2010, but the general public got their first real look at the action-packed follow-up Wednesday night thanks to Apple.com.

"Iron Man 2" has Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) doing battle with Mickey Rourke's Ivan Vanko (a.k.a., Whiplash), while encountering the sexy Natasha Romanoff (played by Scarlett Johansson). Don Cheadle takes over the role of Col. James Rhodes, played by Terrence Howard in the original 2008 film, and slips into his own battle armor as War Machine.

The trailer also provides a brief glimpse of Samuel L. Jackson, who appeared in a cameo after the credits in the original "Iron Man" as Nick Fury, the legendary Marvel character who heads S.H.I.E.L.D.

Those fortunate to attend Comic Con over the summer in San Diego got their own peek at "Iron Man 2," which features some of the footage found in this new trailer.
